News and Events 2012 Upcoming Shows : 2011 Pat has been accepted as a juried member of Women Painters of the Southeast. Pat's painting "Sunflower Morning" has been accepted into the annual "The Best and the Brightest" show at the Scottsdale Artists School. The show runs from Jan.- March 2012 Pat will be exhibiting her artwork as the featured artist at the Woodruff Arts Center, Atlanta GA during the showing of A Christmas Carol, Dec 15-19, 2011. Pat wil be doing a watercolor painting demonstration at The Art House Gallery in Atlanta, GA on September 12 from 6-9PM in conjunction with a fund raising event for the Fragile Kids Foundation. Italian Reverie Show - March Pat's newest paintings from her travels to Italy were featured in a show "Italian Reverie "at the Frameworks Gallery .There was an opening reception on March 3 and the show ran through March 17. Frameworks Gallery, a premier showcase for original art in the Southeast for over 30 years, is located at 1205 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 110 in Marietta, GA 30068. This show can be viewed Mondays through Saturdays 10AM-6PM. For more information, call 770-973-6701 or visit www.frameworksgallery.com SOHO Show- March Pat's painting, Gargnano Row, has been accepted into the exhibition "Sensual Italy" at the Broome Street Gallery at 498 Broome Street in SOHO, NYC from March 15 -20. There was an Opening Reception on Saturday March 19, 2011. Wesleyan Show-April Pat recently participated in the Wesleyan Artists Market in Norcross Georgia on April 28-30, 2011. OPA Pat is now a member of the Oil Painters of America.
2010 Pat presented an oil painting demonstration at the Burton Gallery in Clarkesville, GA on Sunday Nov 14 from 11-4pm in conjunction with the Art Tour. One of Pat's paintings, Hudson Valley Barn, has been published in the book, Splash 11- New Directions: The Best of Watercolor. Release date July 2010. The Splash series showcases the finest watercolor paintings being created today. A new book in the series is published every other year by North Light Books (an imprint of F+W Media) and features approximately 100 paintings by a wide variety of artists from around the country, each with instructive information about how it was achieved — including inspiration, tips and techniques. You can see the book on : North Light Books Website . Pat's painting is featured on page 13 of the preview. Pat was selected as the Featured Artist of the 38th Annual Dunwoody Home Tour. The Dunwoody Women's Club, which sponsors the tour, commissioned Pat to create paintings of each of the homes on the tour. The paintings were on display during the tour on October 6 and then presented to the respective home owners. For more information visit www.dunwoodywomansclub.org Forty of Pat's oil and watercolor paintings were featured in a one woman exhibit, entitled "Escape to Beauty" at the Winery Gallery at Chateau Elan. This exhibit included scenes from recent painting trips to Monet’s Garden in France, Italy, Canada, Bermuda as well as other beautiful landscapes and gardens from places right here in Georgia. Pat participated in the Wesleyan Art Show in Norcross, GA April 29 - May 3. 2009 Pat has written an ebook "Making Money as an Artist: Taking Charge of Your Bottom Line" to empower artists in managing their financial health. 2008 Events Pat's paintings of Monet's Garden were featured in a show at Atelier Giverny in Giverny France in August 2008. She exhibited them again at a show along with paintings done by her students at Studio Z in Atlanta in October 2008. Pat was one of the featured artists participating in the Tuxedo Artisan's Market in Buckhead. October 2008

Recent News: Pat's painting Hudson Valley Barn
was one of 70 paintings selected out of 490 submitted to the 2008 Georgia
Watercolor Society National Exhibition This is the 5th GWS juried show Pat's
work has been accepted into and with this she has earned the credential of GWS
